Beautiful Art Deco lamp and known as "Silhouette" lamps. It represents a woman with a naked torso and holding a ball.
There are some engraved marks on the base but the manufacturer is unknown. French production from around the 30s-40s.
The structure is made of chromed metal and has patina as well as small rust marks or chrome plating breaks due to age.
The lampshade is made of glass and is inserted by thread into the base of the lamp holder. The lampshade is perfectly fixed.
It is turned on and off using an old 'click' switch located on the base. Bayonet type lamp holder (France).
The lamp works perfectly.
