Amazing vase made of hand-decorated glazed ceramic with exquisite details in gilded copper or brass, the work of the renowned Peter Behrens (1868 - 1940) probably for the firm Westerwälder Neukeramik ca. 1905, Germany. Without a doubt a sought-after masterpiece and extremely difficult to find for collectors.
The jug is in excellent condition. Only a patina of age on the copper.
Like several examples, this vase has no attribution marks.
