Beautiful sculptural tray depicting an abstract rooster in the artist's purest style. This work is by renowned French ceramic sculptor Olivier Pettit and dates from around the 1950s and 1960s. It is an extremely attractive piece and outstanding in its workmanship. Like other works by the artist, this is not a common, commercially available piece. In my shop, you can see a wall plaque with the same theme, colors, and technique that comes from the same private collection and is perfect for combining with this work.
Excellent condition. Just to mention: there is a slight micro-scuff at the tip of the beak, which is practically imperceptible to the eye.
