A beautiful Art Nouveau vase, decorated and hand-painted with fired enamel, featuring a lovely poppy cutting. The glass is transparent but appears to have a slight milky tint. I cannot confirm whether this milky tint is due to the glass itself or to having previously held water. It has been cleaned, but the described tint remains even after drying. This should be taken into consideration by the buyer.
Unsigned. Only the painter's marks are present on the base. Attributed to Legras & Cie and possibly for the Mont Joye line, ca. 1900.
The vase has some very slight, practically imperceptible micro-chips, which are indicated in photograph number 9.
