Original miniature bronze figure or sculpture depicting a comical boxing match. The figure is engraved with the mark 'AUSTRIA', and given its skillful design and high-quality craftsmanship, this work of art most likely dates from the Karl Hagenauer workshop around the 1920s. Hagenauer's WHW workshop mark was patented in the early 1930s; previously, his pieces were marked only with 'Austria'.
Engraved on the base with a tiny, barely visible 'AUSTRIA'.
The bronze figure is in good condition. The bronze has not been cleaned and exhibits the patina appropriate for its age.
The black glass base is in good condition except for a few very slight chips.
