Elegant antique French crystal bottle or decanter, manufactured by Saint Louis in the mid-19th century, a true work of art in blown glass.
This refined bottle features the delicate filigree or latticino motif, a traditional technique involving the interlacing of extremely fine white glass rods, creating a spiral pattern of extraordinary precision and visual lightness. The design is enhanced by a clear crystal ring in relief at the center of the bottle and a central ruby-red band, also crafted in filigree, which adds contrast and sophistication to the piece.
Its harmonious silhouette combines a globular body with a tall, slender neck, finished with a slightly flared mouth. The transparency of the crystal and the complexity of the internal latticework create a delicate and luminous optical effect from any angle.
Condition: Excellent. No chips.
Note: We do not know if this bottle or small decanter originally had a crystal stopper. The item offered is exactly as shown in the photographs (without a stopper).
