A beautiful decorative cockatoo figurine in Murano glass, a visually striking handcrafted piece made using the traditional sommerso technique.
The sculpture depicts an elegant, stylized cockatoo with its characteristic raised crest, modeled in translucent glass. The body is crafted from uranium glass, which gives it its distinctive luminous green hue and profound transparency. Inside, a vertical inclusion in dark red creates a vibrant contrast and adds depth to the piece.
The smooth, polished lines, along with the integrated and stable base, reflect the refined craftsmanship of Murano, renowned worldwide for its mastery of glassmaking.
