An elegant pair of candlesticks designed by the renowned Italian master Lino Sabattini for PM Italy around the 1990s.
These pieces perfectly embody the design philosophy that made Sabattini one of the most influential figures in 20th-century Italian silversmithing and decorative design. Their fluid, sculptural lines, created from a single continuous tubular structure, convey an extraordinary sense of balance, lightness, and movement.
Made of silver-plated metal, they stand out for their refined minimalist aesthetic and the purity of their forms, characteristics that make them perfectly suited to contemporary interiors as well as Mid-Century Modern, Modernist, or Italian-inspired settings.
Both candlesticks retain the original hallmark engraved on their base, guaranteeing their authenticity and provenance. Due to their delicate and small size, only narrow candles are permitted.
Their condition is excellent. One of the pieces features an attractive dark patina, naturally developed over the years, which highlights the sculptural character of the design and lends it a particularly elegant presence. However, if the buyer prefers, it can be delivered polished to fully restore its original silver finish, thus giving both pieces a uniform appearance.
