A unique and rare decorative tray of French ceramic, made in Rouen, Normandy, circa 1930.
The piece features an original, modeled reptile-like figure in relief on an organically shaped tray, hand-decorated with the traditional floral and arabesque motifs characteristic of Rouen pottery. Its vibrant cobalt blue, yellow, green, and red colors evoke the rich Norman pottery tradition, reinterpreted during the Art Deco period.
This is an uncommon decorative object, ideal for collectors of French ceramics or as an accent piece in an antique-style decor.
Condition:
Chips and wear consistent with age and use. Minor glaze losses, scuffs, and signs of age are visible in the photographs. No significant restorations are apparent.
